Brand new for 2026 - Our Pretty Gritty 'Hike to Camp Adventure'
For this one night hiking trip we will set out from Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
Meeting mid morning on the 9th of May, all of your camping equipment will be collected from our meeting point and will be transported to our overnight campsite, meaning you will only need to hike with a day pack. 
Bring your picnic or buy one in Ilkley and enjoy a hike of approximately 10 miles across beautiful moorland. 
On arrival at Draughton Heights campsite, you can put up your tent which will have been delivered here. 
You can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or you may choose to swim in one of the lakes or you can book a sauna session directly with Löyly & Jää who have a sauna based there. 
The group will enjoy a 'camp cook up' by Emma and Katie in the evening.
The next day you will pack up your tent & overnight bag and this will be collected and returned to Ilkley in time for our arrival there. 
After breakfast, we will  set off to walk an alternative route to Ilkley of approximately 8 miles.
 
Please note - The hikes will follow rugged and at times, hilly terrain. Please ensure you have the correct  footwear for this type of hike and that the distance is suitable for your fitness level. 
 
Costs - 
£110 per person. Includes transport of your own camping equipment, guided hikes, overnight campsite pitch for a small tent, evening meal and breakfast. 
It does not include lunch or snacks for hiking. Sauna access is booked directly with Löyly & Jää and we would recommend booking no earlier than 4pm to ensure we have arrived at the campsite.
If you do not own a suitable tent and equipment, you can hire a tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag from us at a charge of £30. Please email us at info@prettygritty.co.uk to arrange this. 
If your tent is larger than a two man tent, there may be a supplement to pay with the campsite.
