Shipping & Returns


For all deliveries within the UK we use both the Evri courier service, and the 'Royal Mail signed for' service. This will depend on the cost of the order for us as postage is currently free!


If you'd like your order almost straight away, it might be an option for you to pick your order up,  just send us a message and click 'local pick-up' when purchasing - we will then send you the address in Menston and you can pick it up at any time at your convenience. 


Using the Royal Mail Tracked service as well as Evri courier service enables us to trace your parcel all the way to your front door. It may not require a signature depending on which service. It will probably be photographed and posted if it fits through your letter box. If you are out, the postie/courier may also leave your order with a neighbour or leave a calling card with further collection details. Please let us know in notes if there is a safe place for the parcel to be left.


We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 2 to 3 working days of receiving them. 


Royal Mail estimates 2-3 days for delivery, and Evri 2-4 days: although it is not guaranteed. At busier times of year, or in exceptional circumstances, this time may be longer. Nevertheless, sometimes it time can be as soon as the next day. Please note that we are only able to lodge a complaint with the Royal Mail for late delivery to UK addresses once 10 working days have elapsed since sending.


Faulty items

Pretty Gritty stands behind all of our products and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, if you suspect a defect in the workmanship of a product or a material flaw, please follow the instructions below to have your item replaced. Please note, some things do not fall under manufacturer's defect as they are related to how the item has been used. These are:

  • Material pilling due to rubbing up against a saddle bag, race belt or being washed with items that have Velcro on them.

  • Material pilling due to contact with rough surfaces


Returning a faulty item to Pretty Gritty

If you are returning an item due to a defect, please return the item to us for a full refund including postage. Please follow the returns process set out below in order to initiate your refund.


  • Download and print off the returns form found here. Fill it in to include your name and address, details of what you are returning, your reasons for returning and whether you would like an exchange* or a refund. 

  • *IMPORTANT: exchanges are offered on the same items only. If you are wishing to exchange your item for a different product then you will need to initiate a refund but reorder your new item through the website. 

  • Place part one of the 'Returns Form' within your parcel and seal it securely.

  • Take it to your local post office to send back to us.

  • You must retain Proof of Postage until you have received your refund from us which will include your postage. This is your guarantee on that item should it go missing before it is received at our end. In the unlikely event of this happening, you will need the receipt to claim compensation from the Post Office.


For all other reasons for returning an item (e.g sizing issue), please read below.


The refund process is governed by the following terms and conditions:

  1. We require all original packaging and labels to be returned to us or we will be unable to refund you.

  2. You will be refunded the cost of the items purchased but not the postage. 


Goods that qualify for a return will need to be returned in the following manner:

  • All goods must be returned within 14 working days of receipt in perfect re-saleable condition: unused, unwashed and with all the original packaging and labels.

  • All goods need to be packaged carefully so they are not damaged in any way during their return.

  • Download and print off the returns form found here and fill in as requested.
