Trying to do our bit to help

Pretty Gritty are minimizing our carbon footprint & making our business sustainable. Read the simple but considered ways in which we are trying to doing this

Planting trees

We carbon mitigate, for any of the products that are produced overseas by subscribing to tree planting with a local carbon off-setters.

The suppliers of our run and cycle wear, swim caps, cycle socks and buffs in particular were individually chosen for their green production credentials.

Recycled and biodegradable bags

We use biodegradable mailers which have replaced our recycled mailing bags. Our product inserts and clothes tags are all made from recycled cardboard, with a tree planted for every order we make with our provider, and the opaque clothing bags are made from recycled plastic.

Eco friendly inks used to print onto the fabrics

Our sportswear is made from almost 100% of recycled Italian fabrics. The fabric manufacturers (Carvico) are hot on sustainabiliy. Our sportswear is printed using Jet Tec water based inks. These are manufactured in Europe and adhere to the highest environmental processes in the production and design of their cartridges.
