What are Boils.. how it is caused?
Boil is caused by inflammation of hair follicles, thus results in the localized accumulation of pus or dead tissues. Appearances of red pus filled lumps that are tender, warm and may be painful are the symptoms of boils.
Appearance of a yellow or white point at the center of the lump indicates that the boil is ready to drain the pus. Boils are common on the back, underarms, shoulders, face, lips, thighs, buttocks.
Boils are common in people having diabetes, poor hygiene or malnutrition& immune system disorders.
Boils generally disappears after 4 to 10 days, application of warm water can help in reducing the pain and speeds up the discharge of pus. After the boil is drained, wash the area with a antibacterial soap and get it bandaged.
Taking diet rich in Vitamin A and E also helps in reducing the occurrences of boils.
